Key Responsibilities
1. Designing and Implementing AV Systems
As part of Netflix’s Enterprise AV Builds team, you will design and set up AV systems for conference rooms, event spaces, and collaboration areas. You’ll ensure everything—from lighting and acoustics to hardware and software—meets the highest standards.
2. Managing New AV Installations
You’ll lead the commissioning of new AV projects, working with vendors to fix issues before the first day of business (FDOB). Your goal is to ensure seamless project handovers and high-quality execution.
3. Troubleshooting and Technical Support
As a Tier 4 AV support engineer, you’ll handle escalations for complex technical issues. This includes diagnosing and fixing problems with Q-SYS, Crestron, DSPs, video conferencing hardware, and more.
4. Standardizing AV Processes
You’ll develop and document AV standards to maintain consistency across Netflix’s corporate locations. This includes creating guidelines for conference room setups, collaboration spaces, and event technology.
5. Vendor and Team Collaboration
You’ll work closely with vendors, suppliers, and Netflix’s internal AV teams to ensure high-quality installations. Managing relationships with integrators and coordinating with cross-functional teams will be a key part of your job.
6. Quality Control and Asset Management
Maintaining inventory, tracking AV assets, and ensuring quality control are essential responsibilities. You’ll ensure that all AV equipment is correctly installed, functional, and well-maintained.
7. International and Domestic Travel
Since Netflix operates globally, this role requires travel to corporate locations for installations, inspections, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills and Experience
- AV Design & Deployment – Experience setting up AV systems from scratch, including lighting, acoustics, and video conferencing
- Advanced AV Troubleshooting – Expertise in Q-SYS, Crestron, DSPs, Dante/AES audio, LED walls, and networking technology
- Project Management – Strong skills in organizing large-scale AV projects, coordinating with vendors, and managing installations
- Technical Knowledge – Understanding of IP-based video transmission, audio signal flow, and AV integration
- Vendor Management – Experience working with AV integrators, contractors, and suppliers
- Communication & Documentation – Ability to create clear technical documentation and workflows
- Travel Readiness – Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for project work
Preferred Qualifications:
CTS or CTS-D certification is a plus
Experience with Google Meet video conferencing hardware
Salary and Benefits
Annual Salary: $100,000 – $700,000 (no bonuses, stock options available)
Location: Fully Remote (Work from anywhere)
